Get Ready for a Second term! We're headed for Athens!
Yes, I'm being serious! we are headed for a second term of Obama! Well that is if things continue to go as they are now. Obama holds a ten point lead over
State Tracking will start again after October 1st.
Arkansas
My Rating: Solid GOP
6 Electoral votes
Our Journey takes us back down south to Arkansas. Much like it's Southern counterparts AR. is a mainly Conservative state, but it is not shy about electing many Democrats either. It's Gov. is a Democrat and before 2010 both of it's US. Senators were to, as well as 3 of the states US. Reps.. Arkansas hasn't voted for a Democrat since it voted for It's Moderate Homeboy Bill Clinton in '92 and '96. Obama lost the state by 20 pts. in 2008! This time I believe it will get even redder and continue to go into the Solid GOP column.
Arizona
My Rating: Moderate GOP
11 Electoral votes
We're headin for the wild wild west y'all! Arizona is a bit of a tease for both parties. Home to John McCain, it voted for the Senator by nine pts. over Obama in 2008. Arizona is a republican stronghold, so the GOP is in control of the senate, governors seat and house. Obama has a prospect of winning the state in 2012, because of it's large Hispanic population. I doubt Obama can pull of a victory in this deep redstate in 2012. But who knows the election is one year away.
Alaska
My Rating: Solid GOP
3 Electoral votes
Now we are going to The Big Sky Country, Alaska has only voted for a democrat once. Home to Fmr. Vice Presidential Candidate Sarah Palin. Alaska voted 60 to 40% for John McCain over Obama. In 2008 Alaska did though experience the democrat wave and elected Democrat Mark Begich as their Junior Senator. Alaska is an odd state were 1 city accounts for a huge chunk of the population. Most of the state is an Republican stronghold,Most of Anchorage is republican but the Downtown area is Dem.. Juneau and Fairbanks(except downtown) are Dem. controlled, while Wasilla is mainly GOP. It will take a Democrat wave to put Alaska into Obama's column.
Alabama
My Rating: Solid GOP
9 Electoral Votes
We Start off in the deep south, Alabama has been GOP Territory since Jimmy Carter. The most republican state in the deep south. Unlike its counterparts Miss. and Georgia, it has a much larger white population and a smaller black population. Voting 60% to 40% for John McCain over Barrack Obama in 2008. The only Dem. stronghold is Montgomery and The Black Belt, while the GOP has majorities in Huntsville, Tuscaloosa and Mobile, while Birmingham is split. It will take a miracle for Obama to win in this solid red state.
Here at C4A we will start 50 state tracking, state will be released at different times.
Why Obama will lose all 50 states in some way in 2012.
It is bad when an incumbent democrat in his home state of Hawaii has an approval of 58/59! Yes that is what the liberal Public Policy Polling found. If our economic disaster keeps up as I know it will and scandal still engulfs the white house it would be hard for him to win any states! An Illinois a poll finds Romney 7 pts. behind Obama and Cain by only 12 pts.! Or who can forget the PPP poll that found Mitt Romney only 2 pts. behind Obama in the solid blue state of Connecticut. His problem does not stop there, Gonzales Research found that Any GOP candidate would trail Obama by 12 pts. in Maryland if the election were held today, way to close for comfort. But it is far from over, Quinnipiac Poll finds Mr. Romney 6 pts. behind Obama in the Garden State, New Jersey!! Wait, you cant ignore approval ratings. Obama is down in 46 of the 50 states. The Economy would need to rebound exponentially for him to get even close to winning reelection in 2012. This is this week's impact segment!
Rick Perry's presidential bid announcement.
i agree we are near the breaking point, we need a new leader Obama isn't working!!
First President to say what he is against than what he is for!!
